NEW TORONTO POSTCARDS!

I know, I know, it seems like I have forgotten you.
Fear not dear friends, I have not forsaken you.
It was my birthday last week, and just got over my birthday hangover just yesterday!
;-)
So to celebrate being able to hold my head up again, I would like to share NEW MERCH.
More specifically, I would like to share with you my BRAND NEW POSTCARDS.
Now those of you who follow my work and this chatty little blog, know that I currently have a line of postcards that I have been selling for the past 5 months.
If you don't…..why not??
HERE is a post about them….
They have been very successful for me, and I am so thrilled!
So, I thought I would expand my line of postcards….so you have more selection!
(YAY)
No….not a professional hand model…….
But just look at the 5 new beauties!!!
These cards are still only $3.00 each.
That is only THREE BONES!
DEAL….am I right???!!!
Each card is 4" x 6" in size, and is printed on LOVELY thick glossy paper stock -- and matte on the back -- so that you can actually USE IT to send to a friend!!
Now as you know, I am a guy who loves the details……some even claim I am a little OCD…..
So the back of each card has a design that coordinates with the theme on the front of the card…..
Get it? Now look here…..
Cabbagetown….on the front…..which has a cabbagey-victorian loveliness to it:

The back? JUST AS LOVELY! See my cabbage…..
I put a lot of love into these…..so that you may love them too!!!
Perfect as a gift or as gift to self…..
Send one - frame one…..whatever you like!!!
See them on my website…or buy them from ETSY….
Or wait until December - for my Christmas show…..
(details forthcoming!)
Ok….that is it……HAVE A GREAT WEEK y'all!!

SPACING STORE

Hey guys!
As you may remember, I have been working with Spacing Magazine to sell my 'merch' at their events and pop ups. I donate work to their launches….and I really believe in this magazine!!!
I you don't know about them…..CLICK HERE!
If you don't know about my involvement with them, you can read old blog entires:

http://robcroxford.blogspot.ca/2012/12/spacing-magazine-winter-201213.html
or
http://robcroxford.blogspot.ca/2013/09/magazine-sneak-peeksand-wots-with.html
or
http://robcroxford.blogspot.ca/2013/12/torontopia.html

Anyways, they are in the last stages of getting a brand new retail space…..located here at 401 Richmand Street, Toronto:

But to do so, they need a little help! Here is what they say…..

This fall, Spacing Magazine will be moving in to a new storefront to bring a unique retail experience – Toronto’s first “city store”, a one-stop spot for products that celebrate Toronto and other Canadian cities.

Our new home at the arts and culture cluster 401 Richmond will also serve as the new offices for the magazine. Through our quarterly release parties, urbanism road trips, and numerous community events, Spacing has created a deep connection with our readers, and our new HQ will further foster this connection by opening our operations up to the public and create a new hub for engaging events for local urbanists.

Not only does the store allow us to create more funding for the magazine, but also gives us the opportunity to support independent designers by giving them a dedicated retail space and association with our established brand of civic-themed goods. This isn’t going to be another “made in China CN Tower keychain” tchotchke store, we will be having a curated selection of prints, clothing, books, home goods, and salvaged urban relics.

By contributing to our fundraising, you will be helping us to create and build this space and support some of our favourite designers in Toronto by providing extra funds we will use to stock the store with great products.

Ok….so how can YOU help?
Help them, and help yourself with their Crowd sourcing endeavour!
CHECK IT OUT HERE!!

How fun are those buttons?
YOU NEED THEM!
Just think of the help that Spacing Magazine will get from your purchase!
And in turn they support local artists like me!
So go and help them out today!
They appreciate it…..and so do I!!
Have a great weekend y'all!!!

TOTALLY BAGGED!

HEY GUYS!
Oops - sorry for the caps lock there....also sorry for the bad pun!
But then again it is big news.....pun worthy news!
I listened to all of your input! I have finally created a series of Prints (not really news) BRAND NEW Giclées of my full artwork (that's some news) AND now I am also doing a line of tote bags!
(SURELY THAT IS NEWS ENOUGH FOR YOU?)

Ok......so first.....let me explain.......you guys wanted a larger full version of my work.....and so these are the answer! The TEN "older" heat transfer prints are still available......at a discount!

Yes....there are 4 more......here are the details again:

They are Variable Edition Prints, which means there may be slight differences from print to print.  Each print is heat transfered onto paper by hand and hand embelished with ink.  The paper is high qualtity, acid and chlorine free 100% cotton rag paper. While the print paper is cut to 16" x 20", (so that it can be framed/matted in large format frames) the actual 'live area' is about 8" x 10", so it looks swell in a  smaller frame too!

NOW ONLY $55.00! BAM! Check them out on my SITE or on Etsy.

Then there are the new Giclées. Now I know what you are thinking....what the heck is a Giclée???

Giclée (pronounced "jhee-clay" or "gee CLAY") is a sophisticated inkjet method of printing on acid free watercolor paper. I had these produced by a professional Giclee Printer on an Epson printer with K3 pigment inks.
OKAY....so here they are:

Here is what you need to know about these bad boys.
- Each Giclée is printed in 2 sizes, 16" x 20" ($75.00) and 8" x 10" ($30.00)
- These are small editions.....so you'll wanna get 'em while you can!!
- The paper is high qualtity, acid and chlorine free 100% cotton rag paper. Which is NICE paper!
- While the print paper is cut to 8" x 10" and 16" x 20", (they both have an inch of white border - so that it can be framed/matted in standard frames)

DID I MENTION HOW INEXPENSIVE THESE ARE??
Worth repeating? No?
SEVENTY FIVE BONES for a 16 inch by 20 inch limited art print!
and ONLY THIRTY for the 8 inch by 10 inch!

CAN YOU SAY BAAAARGAIN! ;-)
There I go with the caps lock again. I'm not yelling at you. I am giving you my very best carnival-barker / monster-truck-announcer voice! Check them out on my SITE or on Etsy.

ok....so finally here is all you need to know about my bags.....

Here at Rob Croxford Artistic Creations Inc. we do not have the money to pay decent looking bag models......sigh.......so here is me....getting ready to fill my GLORIOUS bag at the farmers market!

3 Lovely designs to choose from! As follows...."Ontario Place", "Make Friends" and "Cabbagetown":

These awesome heat transfer printed canvas tote bags are based on Rob Croxford original artwork! Made of soft cotton canvas cloth, resistent handles, comfortable to carry groceries, books, beach items and more!  Here are the deets:

100% Bull Denim Woven Cotton construction
SIZE: 14 3/8" x 14" (without straps, just the bag)
Fabric weight 11.0 oz/yd² (YA THAT IS ONE HEAVY DUTY BAG!!!)

You NEED this one of a kind bag!!!
