It's time for a little Wonderful Wednesday!
HUZZAH!
Here are the 5 things I love this week - that I want you to love too!!

1.) This is a project that I like a lot If there is one thing I cannot stand in this world, it is having NO COMPASSION. If there are 2 things I cannot stand, they are no compassion AND BAD SIGNAGE! This project called "Signs for the Homeless" is really neato! Boston-based artists Kenji Nakayama and Christopher Hope interviewed and photographed a number of homeless people on the streets of Boston, replacing their beat-up hand-drawn signs with brand new hand-painted ones. Each interviewed person was also given a small donation in exchange for their old sign. Nakayama and Hope have documented the project on their Tumblr blog hoping to raise awareness about the current state of poverty and encourage others to follow suit offering a helping hand.

2.) Ransack the Universe. If you are in Toronto, looking for vintage and vintage themed bric-a-brac.....you must go check out Bloor west village!

3.) Charlie and the Chocolate Factory THE MUSICAL! Come on. We knew it would happen eventually! This kinda looks like fun.....at least eye candy:

ROALD DAHL's deliciously dark tale of young Charlie Bucket and the mysterious confectioner Willy Wonka comes to life in a brand new West End musical directed by Sam Mendes!!!

Featuring ingenious stagecraft, the wonder of the original story that has captivated the world for almost 50 years is brought to life with music by Marc Shaiman, and lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman (Hairspray; Smash), a book by award-winning playwright and adaptor David Greig (The Bacchae; Tintin In Tibet), set and costume designs by Mark Thompson (Mamma Mia!; One Man, Two Guvnors) and choreography by Peter Darling (Billy Elliot The Musical; Matilda The Musical).

A chocolate garden, an army of squirrels and the curiously peculiar Oompa-Loompas must be believed to be seen in this spectacular new musical that is choc-full of fantastical treats to dazzle your senses.
ANOTHER reason to take a trip to the UK!!!

4.) I can't decide if I hate this....or love it........BUT.....back in 1983, Andy Warhol produced more than 40 works of art inspired by Perrier. To celebrate these works, Perrier has collaborated with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts to create Perrier by Warhol–a limited-edition series of Perrier packaging based on Warhol’s original works.......they are super attractive.......

And so ends this week's corporate sales job.........

WW111: THE ATTENDANT, EASTER CREME EGGS, and ZOMBIES VS TOYS

What a line up of things I have to share this week.....5 glorious things that I want you to see!!
Here we go:

1) OMG...I WANT TO GO TO THERE!!!! A trip to London England is NOW in order.....I would like to have my latte at 'The Attendant':

Here is what Designboom had to say:

"The urinals are so clean you can eat off of them- an idea turned into reality by pete tomlinson and ben russel who acquired an 1890's Victorian style London lavatory and converted it into a clean contemporary cafe. 'the attendant' features the original installations which have been preserved and thoroughly cleaned (for those of you still unconvinced), retaining the original look and feel of the historical washroom while complying to current day sanitary standards. the urinals, produced by doulton & co, have been converted into a small bar table, with a continuous wooden plank that fits to the contours of the urinal walls, suggesting individual eating areas. the attendant's office was repurposed into a kitchen and the original hand dryer still sits on the wall."

Seriously!! I NEEEED to go to there.

2) My dear sister goes out of her way to make a delicious new dish each time I visit. It is completely unnecessary - but very much appreciated!!!! The winner this time....Cheesecake-Filled Chocolate Easter Egg Cups.......

 6-8 hollow chocolate easter egg shells
150g (about 5oz) cream cheese, softened
30g (about 1/4 cup) icing sugar (confectioners' sugar), sifted
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
125ml (about 1/2 cup) thickened/heavy whipping cream
For the 'yolk': My sister substituted caramel for the traditional jam!!

Using a small serrated knife, carefully remove the tops of the chocolate eggs. Place the eggs in the fridge to keep them chilled while you prepare the cheesecake filling, you can use egg cups or your fridge egg holder Place the cream cheese, icing sugar, lemon juice and vanilla in a large mixing bowl and beat on high until the mixture is smooth and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes. Set aside and carefully whip the thickened cream in a separate mixing bowl to stiff peaks (watch it closely as thickened cream is very easy to overwhip and split). Using a whisk, gently combine the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until it is smooth. Carefully spoon or pipe the mixture into the prepared chocolate shells. Chill eggs for at least 30 minutes to allow it to set.

3) These paintings by Bradley Hart are amazing! He creates pixelated photorealistic pictures by injecting bubble wrap with acrylic paint!!!! COME ON!!! SO SMART!! The process starts with the creation of an “Injection” piece in which Hart uses syringes loaded with paint to fill a developed grid of bubble wrap, with colour.

Upon completion of the injected work, the drippings are removed from the backside of the plastic to reveal an “Impression,” thus becoming a work with its own meaning and story." Bradley's show, titled “Wasted Paint & Created Waste” was at gallery nine5 in New York last month!
